      I would like to continue with my earlier work on the life of St. John Bosco, as I feel it will make an impact on the readers. Continuing with this journey from his life, here is an interesting incident, which had a large impact on many young people at that time, and also brought them closer to God. As we proceed, let us not venture into doctrines, since we only proceed for the sake of reference on how he brought the young lads closer or introduced them to His Blessings.                               "A 9-year-old walked miles barefoot for Mass—what's your excuse?"    I am writing a small incident that happened in the life of St. John Bosco, who was the patron saint for the youth. In the serene hills of 19th-century Italy, St. John Bosco, later to be the "Father and Teacher of Youth,"   who we are calling as “Don Bosco” had an extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist since his young years, preferring Jesus to convenience by traveling miles barefoot to Mass, a self-denial which began in his poor childhood where his mother was forced to make a choice between bread or shoes, so he would slip out before dawn to avoid his stepbrother's taunts, slog 3-4 miles to church in inclement weather, and go without breakfast in order not to miss Mass.     Reflection : How long has it been since we sacrificed something for Jesus?
